Why is regular maintenance important?

Printers are unique devices that have multiple mechanical parts, hardware and software that require regular maintenance to maintain optimal performance.  When a printer starts to malfunction or jam, it not only becomes and annoyance but can cause business operations to halt.

How much does the labor for repair & maintenance cost?

There's no direct cost for labor.  As long as you purchase the printers directly from us and continue to purchase toners through us for your current printers, we offer our service as a Managed Print Service at no additional costs to you.

How much does the parts for repair & maintenance cost?

Any printers purchased through us will always have a current warranty for replacement of mechanical or hardware parts at no cost to you.

Any printers not purchased through us will be serviced but depending on if there's a current warranty or not, there will be an at-cost charge for replacement of mechanical or hardware parts.

Are there any certain exceptions regarding repair & maintenance?

Every printer has what are called consumable parts (e.g. paper rollers, pad assembly, fusers) that get worn from constant use and need to be replaced periodically to maintain optimal performance.  Due to the nature of these parts having to be replaced periodically, they are not covered under the standard warranty and any replacement of parts will be at-cost charge for replacement.

How much can be financially saved from repair & maintenance cost?

The industry standard for a technician to do repair on a printer is $60-$70 per hour, not to mention the call-out & travel fee.  Considering that the average onsite visit for a repair is two hours, the cost can easily be at a minimum of $150-$250.

With us providing our service as a Managed Print Service at no additional costs to you, there's no need to fear the costs of having our technician onsite.

What if the printer can't be repaired?

If the printer was purchased through us, it will be covered under the warranty and will be replaced at no cost to you.

​

If the printer wasn't purchased through us but still under warranty, we will handle the warranty procedures to get the printer replaced.

 

Though, if the printer is not covered under warranty, we will make every effort to reasonably repair the printer but if the costs for replacement parts is more costly to the point that it justifies just replacing the printer, we will advise you to do so.
